Signs

This is the result of my wandering through the streets of Prague over the weekend. Pictures were mostly taken at the John Lennon's Wall on Kampa, National Theather, in the surrounding streets of Narodni Trida and close to my house. All one needs is to look around and observe and have eyes wide open. There is no point walking with your head down...

Walking In The Rain

I had a pretty busy weekend with school and trying to move on with my thesis, but I also decided to go for a walk and explore Prague a bit. It was still pretty cold and windy over the weekend, so I wore my other comfort clothes. I got the shirt on a flea market in Rome for 2€ and love it so much as it is very versatile and comfy. I am still learning to use my superb camera so the picture of Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) in the evening was a result of an experiment and I kind of like it, so decided to put it here. It somehow captures the atmosphere of the place - lots of neon lights and movement.

Hands Up

 I have always been wearing watches and bracelets over my sleeves and got lots of weird comments when I was younger, but I have never cared much for rings. This has changed recently. Inspired by some of my favourite bloggers I digged out my old rings. I have a crush on the bended fork ring that FadeToBLack is wearing in the first picture. In the arthouse Techeles in Berlin was an artist selling similar ones, also spoons and bracelets, but it was far too expensive. Maybe another DIY project in the future...

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

These are some of my precious things.

The Diary was a gift from a friend brought from Portugal.

The photograph is of my grandparents. They loved each other eternaly.

I found the pocket mirror in my grandmother's house.

Key pendant was bought on a street antique flea market in Berlin.

Postcard writen by one of my ancestors in 1918. It informs about the arrival of the first Czechoslovakian president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk to Prague and the atmosphere of the time.

I bought the pocket watch in a Prague antique store. It doesn't work and the glass is cracked and that's why I like it even more.

Another Brick In The Wall

I visited Berlin for the first time last weekend. To me Berlin is a mecca of modern art and alternative culture. Drinking coffee in some of many lovely cafe's and restaurants, walking by the river, eating kebabs, exploring the night scene in renowned gay and lesbian clubs, Techeles, the Wall... Berlin has many faces and I had a wicked time.
